"Ooh la la!" Faces
I wish that I knew what I know now when I was younger... Insights we wish we had when we were younger, but which are just as helpful today!
Wouldn't it have been great if the fortune-telling Magic 8 Ball could have gifted us with our own personal, future insights instead of simply giving us the answer to whether we should really eat the whole box of ice cream or call our crush?
Because today you might just be more relaxed knowing that you don’t have to do as much as you think, that slowing down is faster and that dancing is the best way of changing the colors on your mood ring.
You know that your emails or diary aren’t going to be read out before a court, that you can always simply leave if a party is too loud or a date too boring, and that trust and love are worth the effort.
You’re more centered because you understand that sometimes what you love isn’t what you do to make a living, that to cut onions without tears you simply have to wet the board, knife and onion, that trouble often means nothing but transportation to a different place and that the purpose of a conversation is not to win but to expand.
You’ve realized that even a journey in your mind can be relaxing, that it’s up to you to determine how each day will turn out and that nobody thinks about you as much as you do.
You know that you can trust your intuition, that a single moment can change your life and that everything you thought was wrong with your body at 25, you would pay a fortune for at 45.
Wouldn't it have been nice to have known all this earlier? And isn't it fantastic that we know it now!
